What Blokova is

Blokova is an independent website that organizes public permit records, links to local news, and lists local businesses. We are not a government agency and we aren’t connected to any city we cover.

Information is provided as is

Records can be late, incomplete, placed at the wrong spot on the map, or categorized imperfectly. Always check the original city record before you rely on it for a decision about buying, renting, building or investing. See the disclaimer for more.

Your submissions

When you send a listing, local update, correction or ad, you confirm that it is accurate, that you have the right to share it, and that it doesn’t break any law or anyone else’s rights. You let us display, edit for length and clarity, and remove it. We review submissions before they appear and may decline any of them.

Advertising

Sponsor placements are labeled. A booking covers the city and dates agreed in writing; we don’t guarantee impressions, clicks or results unless we say so in writing. We can reject or remove ads that are misleading, unlawful or unsuitable for a general audience. Refunds for unused placements are handled case by case.

Acceptable use

Don’t scrape the site in bulk, overload it, try to get around sign-in, or use it to harass anyone named in a public record. Source datasets keep their own licenses; if you reuse data, follow the license shown on the coverage page.

Links to other sites

Headlines and source links take you to sites we don’t control. Their terms and privacy policies apply there.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Blokova isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site or relying on its information, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (zero for free use).

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Blokova is based.
