This permit application is submitted in response to Reference Codes 5UHAMZ & 1HK3C2. The purpose of this application is to address the cited items and bring the property into compliance with HDLC requirements. The scope of work includes the following: Speakers previously installed on the front facade of 1612 Prytania Street without a Certificate of Appropriateness have been removed. No speakers remain on the front facade. Wood soffits at both 1612 and 1618 Prytania Street that were previously unpainted have been painted with an opaque finish in a color selected to closely resemble the appearance of natural wood. Black and white tile was installed over exiting concrete areas. After speaking with director of HDLC, tiles have been approved to be retained. The original building had french doors. The french doors were dilapidated and deteriorated and were replaced with awning style windows. After speaking with HDLC we are seeking approval of retention of these windows.
